Design is the embodiment of the rational. To identify a need, and create an intervention to resolve that need. Human needs are not rational but emotional, opportunistic, complex, ultimately - human.
To design for humans is to provide unexpected opportunities, to create emotions and feelings, to meet needs that may not even be describable in words. Human design is irrational design.
